# Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer ensures compliance with internal and external quality standards by applying engineering, statistical, and analytical methods. This role supports the Quality Management System (QMS), leads root cause investigations, monitors key quality metrics, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer interfaces with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and customers to promote quality culture and operational excellence. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, UL, and customer-specific standards. Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms. Track and report facility quality metrics Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability Studies. Manage calibration and gauge R&R programs for monitoring and measuring equipment. Assist with internal audits, process audits, and support third-party or customer audits.
