This role will perform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations e.g., visual, dimensional, functional, and non-destructive techniques, to make necessary critical observations, test, or completing appropriate documentation as required.\n Inspects and measures parts using precision measuring equipment to determine conformance to material specifications. \nPrepare and maintain quality verification documentation. \nStudies and interprets sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of parts to determine conformance requirements. \nApproves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.\nCommunicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, sales, customers, compliance agencies and other shop personnel for quality and customer related issues. \nWithin the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations. \nMay perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n\nPreferred prior machine operator experience.\nWorking knowledge of industrial processes and traditional quality control methodologies.\nIntermediate knowledge of computer software including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.\nIntermediate problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.\nGood organizational and planning skills to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.\nAttention to detail\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES\n\nMust be adaptable to changes in the work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES\n\nWorking knowledge of industrial processes and traditional quality control methodologies. \nIntermediate knowledge with computer software to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.\nEntry level customer service skills in managing difficult client, vendor, audit agencies, or customer situations by responding promptly to requests.\nIntermediate problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.\nGood organizational and planning skills to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills. \n 2-5 years of experience or training in a similar role\nExperience in a CNC machine shop is highly preferred \nUp to three (3) years of experience in a heavy manufacturing shop environment, preferably in a process-oriented shop and/or related industry preferred\nBlueprint and GD&T
