Repair Technician

NOV Aftermarket Repair has an opening for a Repair Technician at our workshop in Søgne. You will join a team of technicians and service engineers working with our portfolio of drilling equipment, performing overhaul, service, and maintenance.

As a Repair Technician, you will take ownership of multiple projects from start to finish. This includes inspection, assembly, testing, and preparing reports and documentation. We are looking for someone with strong technical understanding, a background in mechanical work, and an interest in varied, hands-on assignments.

• Perform overhaul and repair of drilling equipment
• Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues
• Perform testing in accordance with established procedures
• Prepare and complete inspection reports
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment

• Trade certificate in mechanical or hydraulic disciplines
• Hands-on experience with drilling equipment is preferred; relevant experience from automotive, heavy vehicles, or construction equipment may also be considered
• Forklift and overhead crane certification and experience are preferred
• Strong IT understanding and experience; good Excel and general computer skills are an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Experience preparing service reports is an advantage
