are looking for a Senior Factories & Installation Engineer - Carcass to join our global Manufacturing Process Engineering (MPE) team.\nThe MPE team is responsible for developing and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, driving greater efficiency, safety, quality, and global standardization across our facilities in Açu, Brazil, and Kalundborg, Denmark.\nThe primary focus of this position will be the Carcass manufacturing process, identifying improvement opportunities, developing technical solutions, and implementing initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing performance and processes.\nThe successful candidate will work in a multicultural and collaborative environment, interacting frequently with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Supply Chain, and global suppliers.\n Develop and implement improvements to processes, machinery, equipment, and production lines related to the Carcass manufacturing process.\nAnalyze manufacturing process performance, identifying bottlenecks, losses, risks, variations, and opportunities for optimization.\nLead or participate in the execution of engineering projects, including the installation, assembly, modification, and commissioning of machinery and production lines.\nDevelop concepts, technical specifications, layouts, drawings, technical documentation, and requirements for the acquisition or modification of equipment.\nDevelop mechanical designs using 3D modeling tools.\nConduct technical, economic, and operational feasibility studies for new equipment and process improvements.\nDevelop and standardize engineering solutions applicable to the Açu and Kalundborg facilities.\nParticipate in defining global standards for equipment, processes, components, and engineering practices.\nCollaborate with suppliers on scope definition, technical evaluation of proposals, manufacturing, inspection, installation, and equipment acceptance.\nOversee manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.\nDevelop test plans and acceptance criteria, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), when applicable.\nConduct root cause analyses and propose corrective and preventive actions for technical and process-related issues.\nSupport Production and Maintenance teams in troubleshooting mechanical issues and improving equipment reliability.\nParticipate in risk assessments related to machinery, processes, and engineering modifications.\nEnsure that projects comply with safety, quality, productivity, ergonomics, and sustainability requirements.\nPrepare technical reports, presentations, project schedules, cost estimates, and project documentation.\nMonitor performance indicators, costs, schedules, risks, and results for projects under their responsibility.\nPromote knowledge transfer and the sharing of best practices across facilities.\nConduct technical training and support the implementation of new standards and operating procedures.\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.\nSolid professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering, or related areas.\nProven experience in executing industrial projects, including the assembly, installation, modification, or expansion of production lines.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine elements, materials, tolerances and fits, structures, power transmission systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, forming, assembly, surface treatment, and the manufacturing of mechanical components.\nExperience in the development of industrial machinery, equipment, fixtures, or tooling.\nProficiency in 3D modeling and technical drawing software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or equivalent tools.\nAbility to interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, technical specifications, and equipment documentation.\nKnowledge of project management, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and supplier coordination.\nExperience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies, such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, A3, 8D, or similar approaches.\nKnowledge of continuous improvement and process optimization methodologies.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, charts, and the development of performance tracking tools and KPIs.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.\nFluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for meetings, presentations, technical documentation, and collaboration with global teams.\nAvailability for domestic and international travel, particularly between the Açu and Kalundborg facilities.\nStrong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural
