The engineer will support production optimization, bottleneck analysis, and capacity planning through accurate simulation models and data-driven insights.\n Develop discrete-event, continuous/rate-based, and agent-based simulation models using AnyLogic.\nModel flexible pipe manufacturing processes, including production lines, machines, rollers/reels, buffers, operators, and material flow.\nSimulate continuous pipe production, line speeds, material consumption, reel transfers, and storage limitations.\nModel production interruptions such as bobbin depletion, welding stops, reel changes, changeovers, restart delays, and machine downtime.\nAnalyze bottlenecks, machine utilization, WIP, storage capacity, throughput, and production constraints.\nCreate input parameters, scenarios, dashboards, charts, and output reports within AnyLogic.\nIntegrate with ML for iterating model behavior.\nCollaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to validate assumptions and improve model accuracy.\nMaintain and update simulation models based on changes in machinery, layout, process flow, or product specifications.\nRegular collaboration with Denmark and international teams.\nInternational travel required, including visits to Brazil or Denmark.\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.\n3-8 years of experience in simulation modeling, preferably for manufacturing or industrial systems.\nStrong hands-on experience with AnyLogic simulation software.\nGood understanding of DES, continuous/rate-based simulation, and hybrid modeling.\nExperience with AnyLogic Process Modeling Library, agents, events, statecharts, parameters, functions, and custom logic.\nAbility to translate real production processes and operational data into simulation parameters.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nAbility to present simulation results and improvement recommendations to technical and non-technical
