As Warehouse Supervisor you will be an effective team leader responsible for directing the front-line employees in the warehouse. This position is directly responsible for the shipping/receiving and warehousing function for the Tulsa location PM warehouses.\n PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain a high degree of inventory accuracy throughout the entire warehouse/shipping/receiving department\nResponsible for hiring, and, retaining along with employee development and/or corrective actions for warehouse/shipping/receiving personnel\nEnsures timely and accurate receiving within 48 hours\nCoordinate with order management to ensure shipments are going out daily to customers and receiving and put away done in timely and correct manner\nReconcile and age pick tickets vs. packed boxes to ensure shipments are flowing timely and accurately with no duplicated picks.\nSupervise; Train all full time or contract/temporary employees to ensure our (SOPs) procedures are met and all employees work in accordance with NOV Code of Conduct (Company Policy)\nParticipate in inventory audits and reconciliation as needed \nInvestigate shipping discrepancies for root cause and corrective action recommendations\nEnsure accurate execution of cycle count as directed\nCollaborate with engineering, production, quality, vendors, customer support, and other departments regarding problem resolution\nAid in warehouse layout, design, and housekeeping for effective storage methods and adherence to quality requirements\nAid in implementation of new warehouse/shipping/receiving technology and processes.\nFocus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives \nComply with all NOV Company and Quality, Health Safety Environmental polices & procedures\nCarry out job requirements in accordance with established procedures and specifications. \nEnsure compliance of the company’s overall objectives\nOther duties as assigned by Plant Manager\n EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 2 to 4 year(s) of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n1 -3 year(s) of experience in supervising and directing personnel; preferably in a shipping, receiving and/or warehouse \nERP or MRP system experience preferably JDE and EBS\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nMust have strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.\nAbility to effectively use problem solving, planning, process improvement, and implementation skills to achieve a wide array of goals and directives.\nGeneral knowledge of a customer driven high volume manufacturing environment.\nWorking knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.\nData entry utilizing JD Edwards or similar ERP system.\n\nCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS: (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)\n401(k) Retirement Plan - NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.\nCompetitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
