This position is ideal for a seasoned building enclosure professional located in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan areas who enjoys managing complex projects, leading technical teams, building client relationships, and delivering high-quality consulting services.\nThis role offers the opportunity to oversee diverse building envelope projects involving roofing, waterproofing, facades, fenestration, forensic investigations, remedial design, quality assurance, and performance testing for commercial, healthcare, educational, institutional, industrial, and multi-family facilities.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Building Envelope Project Manager serves as the primary client contact and project leader for a variety of building enclosure consulting assignments. Responsibilities include project management, technical oversight, client development, forensic investigations, remedial design, quality assurance observations, and construction-phase services related to roofing, waterproofing, facades, windows, and other enclosure systems.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations while providing technical guidance and mentoring junior staff. This position combines leadership, business development, and technical expertise to support the continued growth of NOVA's Facilities and Building Envelope practice.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nManage building envelope consulting projects from proposal through final deliverable, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.\nLead and perform building enclosure assessments, roofing evaluations, property condition assessments, moisture investigations, and forensic studies.\nDevelop and oversee remedial design solutions and construction documents for roofing, waterproofing, facade, curtain wall systems, glazing systems, and enclosure rehabilitation projects.\nConduct and manage peer reviews of architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals related to enclosure systems.\nLead investigations involving water intrusion, enclosure failures, roofing deficiencies, constructability concerns, and building performance issues.\nOversee field testing of roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, curtain wall, and facade systems in accordance with ASTM, AAMA, TAS, and ANSI standards.\nPerform quality assurance observations and construction-phase consulting services to evaluate compliance with contract documents, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.\nPrepare proposals, reports, specifications, repair recommendations, budgets, project schedules, and client correspondence.\nMentor and develop junior consultants, architects, engineers, and technicians.\nSupport business development initiatives through client relationship management, networking, proposal preparation, and identification of new opportunities.\nCollaborate with NOVA leadership to support growth of the Building Envelope and Facilities Consulting practice.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in building envelope consulting, roofing, waterproofing, architecture, engineering, or related disciplines.\nDemonstrated project management experience including budgeting, scheduling, client communications, and technical oversight.\nStrong background in building enclosure systems, remedial design, investigations, and construction administration.\nExperience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams simultaneously.\nStrong understanding of roofing, waterproofing, facade systems, windows, curtain walls, air barriers, and moisture management principles.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) preferred but not required.\nIIBEC certifications are preferred: Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), etc\nValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.\nCheck out our Perks:\nIn addition to our welcoming company culture and competitive compensation packages, our employees enjoy the below benefits:\nComprehensive group medical insurance, including health, dental and vision\nOpportunity for professional growth and advancement\nCertification reimbursement\nPaid time off\nCompany-observed paid holidays\nCompany paid life insurance for employee, spouse and children\nCompany paid short term disability coverage\nOther supplemental benefit offerings including long-term disability, critical illness, accident and identity theft protection\n401K retirement with company matching of 50% on the first 6% of employee contributions\nWellness program with incentives\nEmployee Assistance Program\nUse of take-home Company Vehicle for daily travel to work sites with fuel card\nAbout NOVA:\nEstablished in 1996, NOVA was originally founded to provide Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services to the design and construction community, largely in the southeastern United States.
