The role will begin in January 2027. Associate Account Managers provide clients support on 401(k) issues over the phone. For example, Associate Account Managers may assist clients with census submission questions, submitting Form 5500, and other issues related to their 401(k) plan.\nAssociate Account Managers receive paid training. Nova supports Associate Account Managers obtaining industry credentials by paying for study time, exams, and professional membership fees. Excellent performers who obtain a QKA designation will be eligible to apply for other positions after 18 months. This is a hybrid role, and the Associate Account Manager will be required to work four days per week from our Houston, TX office and may work one day per week from home. \nAbout Nova:\nNova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant third party non-producing administration firm. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow continuously and provide advancement opportunities for our professionals.\nJob Responsibilities:\nMaintain a high level of client service for team-based Solo(k) Services; client base not assigned\nManage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment\nConsult with clients regarding plan operation, design, and upgrading platforms\nFollow-up by phone with clients about missing items\nAssist firm-wide clients via the phone, video conference, or email with census submission issues, submitting Forms 5500, simple 401(k) questions, resetting passwords, troubleshooting web access, etc.\nCollaborate with account managers and others to ensure a positive client experience\nDocument all client interactions in our workflow management system\nAssist with other assigned tasks to balance workloads and receive well-rounded training\nPerform work according to Nova policies and procedures\nComplete assigned training\nWork towards obtaining an industry designation\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\nCustomer service experience a plus\nExcellent written communication skills and ability to compose a professional email\nExcellent verbal communication skills and knowledge of phone etiquette\nExcellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task\nExperience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer\nKnowledge of VOIP phone systems a plus\nHelp desk experience a plus\nCommitted to lifelong learning and coachable\nSalary and benefits:\nBase Salary $55,000 - $60,000\nSalaried, non-exempt position\nMedical, dental, disability, and life insurance\nPaid time off\n401(k) plan with employer match\nWork Location/Hours:\nHybrid role\nMust work in the Houston, TX office 4 days per week; may work 1 day per week from home\nThe role will begin in January 2027\nMust be authorized to work for any US employer\nMust attend regular video meetings via Microsoft Teams or equivalent\nWe will supply all necessary computer equipment\nWork hours: standard business hours; 40 hours per week\nYou may choose a start time between 7:30 am and 8:30 am CST\nNova 401(k) Associates is an energetic and thriving national third-party administrator for retirement plans.
