The role works closely with Planning, Warehouse, Production and suppliers to maintain material availability and support daily manufacturing operations.\nKey responsibilities\nPrepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on approved purchase requisitions, MRP requirements and purchasing instructions.\n\nMonitor open POs and follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery dates and outstanding quantities.\n\nExpedite deliveries when necessary to support production schedules and customer requirements.\n\nCoordinate changes to PO quantities, delivery dates and specifications as instructed by the Buyer.\n\nMaintain accurate purchasing records, including prices, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), supplier details and delivery commitments.\n\nAssist the Buyer in consolidating purchasing requirements to support bulk purchasing and cost savings.\n\nCommunicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, material shortages and discrepancies.\n\nCoordinate delivery documents and material receiving arrangements with suppliers and the Warehouse team.\n\nSupport supplier performance tracking, including delivery reliability and responsiveness.\n\nWork closely with Planning, Warehouse and Production to identify material shortages and ensure timely material availability.\n\nAbout you\nDiploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration or a related discipline.\n\n1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor or contract manufacturing.\n\nExperience in purchase order management, supplier follow-up and delivery coordination.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP systems or SAP purchasing processes will be an advantage.\n\nGood Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.\n\nGood communication, coordination and follow-up skills.\n\nAble to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced
