You will also need to ensure that the quality control standards are met.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nReading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.\n\nAssembling components or sub-assemblies using appropriate tools and following specific guidelines and procedures.\n\nInspecting parts for defects or damage.\n\nFollowing safety protocols and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.\n\nMaintaining a clean and organized work area.\n\nUse hand tools such as wrenches, T-handles, utility knives, and other similar tools.\n\nOperate power tools and hydraulic press.\n\nApply lubricants and other treatments to assembled products to ensure proper functioning and longevity.\n\nAdjust, repair, or replace faulty components of the machinery during and after the assembly process to guarantee optimal performance.\n\nClean and organize workspace and assembly areas.\n\nProperly store equipment, tools, and materials.\n\nReport any machinery malfunctions, damaged parts, or other issues to supervisors promptly.\n\nWork collaboratively with team members to meet production goals on schedule.\n\nInstall electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components and connect them properly.\n\nConduct inspections of parts and finished products, identify any defects, and document quality issues.\n\nFollow assembly instructions precisely to construct machinery and equipment.\n\nRequired Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies\nBe able to read, interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and schematics\n\nBe able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.\n\nBe able to communicate effectively\n\nHave experience in manufacturing or a desire to learn, along with consistent attention to detail\n\nBe able to follow safety procedures and guidelines\n\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe base pay for this position is $34,105 to $54,530 per year depending on the geographic market.\n\nDependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.\n\nNovanta supports all aspects of your life’s needs.
