As a Life Cycle Manager, you will act as the ESO project lead for technical, manufacturing, and engineering initiatives across the life cycle of a product, including launches, transfers, changes, divestments, due diligence activities, and other strategic projects. You will bring together global and local stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and drive the successful execution of product strategies while balancing service levels, inventory, compliance, and cost objectives. Working across a highly interconnected global network, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless product transfers to contract manufacturing organizations and delivering operational excellence throughout the product life cycle.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nLead technical transfer projects from initial planning through delivery and formal closure.\nCreate project charters, detailed action plans, timelines, milestones, and governance structures.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing Science and Technology, Quality, Artwork, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external partners.\nAct as the main point of contact between Novartis teams and contract manufacturing organizations.\nTrack project activities, dependencies, milestones, risks, and deviations against agreed timelines.\nResolve project obstacles and escalate critical issues promptly to protect timelines and product supply.\nOrganize regular governance meetings and provide clear project updates to teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.\nDevelop submission, implementation, and change-control strategies with relevant regulatory, planning, and quality stakeholders.\nCoordinate inventory and contingency stock planning to prevent supply disruptions during transfers and product changes.\nEnsure projects meet agreed strategies, regulatory requirements, quality standards, budgets, and operational objectives.\nEssential Requirements\nDegree in Pharmacy or a related pharmaceutical discipline.\n10 to 15 years of experience working with solid oral dosage forms.\n7 to 10 years of project management experience involving technology transfers and cross-functional project delivery.\nTechnical understanding of tablet formulation, manufacturing processes, and product requirements.\nWorking knowledge of registration requirements across Europe and Rest of World markets.\nAbility to develop Gantt charts and manage complex projects, timelines, risks, and escalations.\nProfessional English, with strong communication, collaboration, and results-oriented problem-solving skills.\nCommitment to Diversity and Inclusion\nNovartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse team representative of the patients and communities we serve.\nAccessibility and Accommodation\nNovartis is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
