As Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, you will translate strategic priorities into scalable, performance-driven ways of working-embedding clear governance, planning discipline, and data- and AI-enabled solutions to drive alignment, simplification, execution excellence, and measurable impact across global and country teams.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign ,implement & continuously improve the International Comms & Patient Advocacy l operating model, ensuring clear governance, decision rights, and scalable ways of working\nLead planning, objective-setting, and prioritization to align resources with strategic business goals\nSimplify and redesign processes to reduce complexity, duplication, and inefficiencies across the function\nApply data, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve workflows, decision-making, and execution speed\nDefine and embed performance frameworks, including key performance indicators and dashboards to track impact\nDrive financial discipline, managing budgets, headcount, and resource allocation in line with priorities\nLead vendor strategy and partnerships to optimize value, reduce duplication, and align spend with strategic outcomes\nDeliver transformation initiatives, embedding new ways of working and driving sustained adoption across teams\nEssential Requirements\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required\nExtensive experience in strategy and operations, transformation, or management consulting within global organisations\nProven ability to design and implement operating models, governance structures, and scalable processes\nExperience translating strategic priorities into clear objectives, success measures, and execution plans\nStrong financial and resource management experience, including budget oversight and headcount planning\nDemonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive adoption across complex, matrixed environments\nExperience improving processes using data, automation, or artificial intelligence to drive efficiency and decision making\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge complexity and drive simplification in ways of working\nBenefits & Rewards\nAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen.\nExpected Annual Base Salary Range for role: €84,630 to €157,170\nThe base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.\nIn addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.\nThe rewards of being part of our team go far beyond base pay and incentives.
