As Supply Chain Manager, you will play a central role in building the supply chain setup for the German market, bringing together customer and market insights, aligning them with the global Supply Chain organization, and translating demand into effective production plans for our radiopharmaceutical site in Halle. Working with SAP S/4HANA, you will connect customer needs with site capacity, materials and operational priorities. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone who wants broad ownership, close exposure to both global and site teams, and the chance to make a visible impact as the business grows.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and strengthen Supply Chain capabilities at the Halle site.\nDrive Supply Chain excellence and continuously improve performance from procurement through delivery.\nCreate integrated supply plans, aligning production and logistics requirements.\nTranslate customer and market demand into effective site production plans.\nOptimize backup dose planning to achieve customer service targets while minimizing waste.\nLead the site Supply Chain risk management process.\nOptimize warehousing, distribution and transportation activities.\nManage supplier agreements in collaboration with Global Procurement.\nManage the site Supply Chain budget and related expenses.\nLead and contribute to cross-functional and international projects.\nEssential Requirements\nUniversity degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or another relevant field.\nBroad Supply Chain experience across customer demand, order management and production planning, ideally gained across different Supply Chain roles.\nStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic production environment.\nExperience working closely with production teams and translating customer demand into actionable production plans.\nFluent English and at least basic German for daily operational collaboration.\nExperience in the radiopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage.\nBenefits & Rewards\nAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen.\nExpected Annual Base Salary Range for role: € 78,200 to € 117,200\nThe base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.\nIn addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.\nThe rewards of being part of our team go far beyond base pay and incentives.
