SAP Solution Architect

We are seeking a dynamic and client-facing SAP Solution Architect to join our rapidly growing consulting practice. In this key role, you will be the chief technical authority for our most critical client engagements.

This is not an internal IT role. You will be a high-visibility leader, working side-by-side with our sales teams during the pre-sales cycle to understand diverse client challenges, architect compelling solutions, and demonstrate the value of our services. During delivery, you will be providing architectural governance and technical leadership to our consulting teams to ensure we deliver a world-class solution that meets the clients business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Solutioning: Act as the lead technical expert during the sales cycle. Work with the sales team to lead discovery sessions, analyze client requirements, respond to RFPs, and architect comprehensive solutions.
• Solution Design: Develop and present solution blueprints, target architectures, and technology roadmaps for a wide variety of clients, with a strong focus on S/4HANA (Cloud and On-Premise) and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Effort Estimation & SOW: Create detailed effort estimates, resource plans, and technical content for Statements of Work (SOWs) and client proposals.
• Delivery & Architectural Governance: Provide technical oversight and leadership for one or more implementation projects. Ensure the delivered solution adheres to the signed-off design, and act as the highest point of technical escalation for the project team.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:  

• Experience: 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect, Principal Consultant, or similar lead role within an SAP consulting firm or System Integrator.
• Full-Lifecycle Implementations: Demonstrable experience leading the design of multiple (at least 3-4) full-lifecycle SAP implementations, ideally for clients in different industries.
• S/4HANA Expertise: Deep expertise in S/4HANA (Cloud/On-Premise) transformations. You must be able to design greenfield, brownfield, and selective data transition scenarios.
• Integration & BTP: Expert-level knowledge of modern SAP integration strategies and tools, especially the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) / Integration Suite (CPI).
• Broad Functional Knowledge: Strong cross-functional understanding of end-to-end business processes in SAP (e.g., Finance, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Manufacturing, Supply Chain).

Preferred:  

• Multiple Certifications: A strong portfolio of relevant SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA, BTP, SAP Certified – Solution Architect) is highly desirable.
• Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) certification.
• Experience with SAPs „RISE with SAP“ offering.
