NovaSource’s expertise extends beyond solar and includes battery energy storage systems (BESS), offering a complete suite of services for the evolving renewable energy landscape.\nNovaSource Power Services is seeking high-potential leaders to join our digital solutions & technology team supporting utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) operations.\nSummary of Role\nThe Business Analyst is a key role in the development of the NovaSource digital products and services. This person will effectively bridge the gap between what the customer needs and the technical teams who will create and build the solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business needs\nTranslate high-level goals to functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for developers\nCreate process flow diagrams and use cases to visualize system workflows, work together with product design to illustrate outcomes\nCollaborate with Product Management, Technical Leads, Customers/Stakeholders to align the product delivery to business objectives\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a SaaS or digital environment\nProven track record of delivering software solutions in iterative process\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers to understand pain points, key contractual requirements and future trends, and build technical requirements documentation from those interactions\nAbility to engage constructively in technical conversations with Software Engineering teams / Technical leads, basic understanding of data architecture and engineering principles\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments\nExceptional written and oral communication skills\nExperience working in distributed teams (multiple time zones, countries, and cultural contexts)\nBusiness acumen: knowledge and experience in key levers to drive business value for both NovaSource and the end customer\nBachelor’s degree in computer sciences, project / program management, engineering, business, or equivalent experience managing large-scale cross-functional transformation projects\nAbility to work primarily from our Chandler, AZ Office.\nOffice Physical Requirements:\nAll positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
