NovaSource’s expertise extends beyond solar and includes battery energy storage systems (BESS), offering a complete suite of services for the evolving renewable energy landscape.\nSummary of Role\nThe Technical Product Owner is the single point of technical accountability for the two platforms that carry NovaSource's field and financial transactions. The role holds the configuration of record, controls the environments and the release process, and approves what reaches production. Vendors build, test and deploy under this role's direction; they do not decide.\nKey Responsibilities\nHold the configuration of record for ServiceMax, Salesforce and assist with Business Central, including objects, fields, rules, posting setups, permission models and extensions. \nApprove changes to production on either platform. Maintain the change record, including impact assessment, test evidence, business approval and rollback plan. \nEstablish and operate administration: environments, updates, user and permission administration, extension management, and the technical relationship with vendors. \nAdminister ServiceMax and Salesforce: releases, permission sets, profiles, page layouts, validation rules, and the mobile application configuration and assist with Business Central. \nOwn the interface inventory between ServiceMax, Business Central, Zoho and ADP, including the pattern, owner, monitoring and replay procedure for each. \nOwn escalation for integration failures and accept or reject root cause analysis from the support provider. \nOperate integration monitoring and replay once delivered under the billing transformation, and hold the vendor to detection targets. \nControl sandbox provisioning, refresh cadence, and third-party access to every environment. \nMaintain the release calendar against the financial close calendar and field operating windows. Approve or refuse deployment timing. \nVerify rollback for every release and bulk load before approving promotion, including the treatment of transactions created between deployment and rollback. \nRun regression checks on affected integrations and posting paths before every production promotion. \nRequire a tested recovery plan from each vendor for both platforms and their integrations, as Tier 1 applications. \nSchedule, witness and document restoration and failover testing, and validate results independently rather than accepting vendor assertion. \nReview and approve vendor technical designs before build starts. \nAccept or reject vendor deliverables against defined acceptance criteria, including test evidence and documentation. \nEnforce sandbox-only development. Refuse and report any change made directly in production. \nConfirm vendor documentation is complete and held in the NovaSource repository before a deliverable is accepted. \nServe as technical acceptance authority for billing transformation milestones, alongside business acceptance from the business platform owner. \nProvide environments, access and platform context to the delivery vendor on the program schedule.\nQualifications\nFive or more years administering a Salesforce-based platform, with ServiceMax or an equivalent field service application. \nWorking knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration, or a committed path to certification within the first six months with vendor support. \nDemonstrated release and change management practice in a production environment carrying financial transactions. \nUnderstanding of integration concepts: interface design, error handling, replay, and monitorig. \nAbility to read a vendor technical design and identify what it does not address. \nAbility to work primarily from our Chandler, AZ Office.\nPreferred\nSalesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification. \nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification. \nExperience holding a vendor to acceptance criteria in a managed service or project engagement. \nField service or asset management industry background. \nOffice Physical Requirements:\nAll positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
