And that’s how we empower a renewable world.\nSCADA & OT Support Engineer\n(Philippines)\nSummary of Role:\nThis role is responsible for resolving ME (Managed Engine) tickets. This role reports to the SCADA&OT Support Manager and will be part of the Global SCADA&OT Engineering Team.\nCurrently, the SCADA&OT engineering team provides three main functions for the business:\n1. Continuous engineering support for Global NSPS portfolio\n2. Build and maintain critical infrastructure to support and monitor power plant assets\n3. Executing value added service projects such as SCADA designs or upgrades\nKey Responsibilities:\nResolve SCADA&OT related to ME Tickets such as: \nData/network communication failures \nHMI graphic issues (FCON)\nTag mapping/Data quality issues\nAlarms issues\nCAISO RIG troubleshooting (for legacy Plants)\nRTAC troubleshooting (where in our SoW). \nSCADA software version upgrades\nSCADA software driver module installation\nDevice driver installations\nTag points modifications\nSCADA user accounts creation\nEnsure that there will be no SLA violations.\nAssist field technicians in resolving issues onsite and gather information whenever \nnecessary via phone and generate a report for reference purposes. \nSupport our NovaCommand Operators (AU, Chile, USA).\nWill be assigned in an On-call SCADA&OT Support Task.\nParticipate in meetings.\nUpdate the support playbook by:\nDocumenting the procedures on successfully resolved issues. \nAccomplish the weekly performance metrics (hours spent, closed tickets), Billable hours per plant spent to create SCO\nComply with EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), company policies and standards. \nQualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics and Communications, Instrumentation and\nControls Engineering\nAccomplished user of Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint\nCommunicate effectively in both verbal and written format in English\nMust know how to prioritize day-to-day work\nHigh attention to detail.\nStrong analytical and documentation skills\nExperience with SCADA applications such as Ignition, Wonderware, N3uron, Kepware\nExperience with SCADA system integrations works, mapping tags, developing HMI\nscreens and creating logic scripts.\nExperience with industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, MQTT)\nFamiliarity with Rockwell Automation Products\nExperience with SEL Products\nKnowledgeable in Industrial Networking\nBasic understanding of Solar Plant Operations, Substation protection, Capacitor banks,\nSolar tracking systems, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), Power Meters, Inverters, Controllers, and Meteorological stations.\nBasic knowledge of approved cyber security practices\nWork Environment\nFast-paced, high-ambiguity environment\nWilling to work in a rotating shift schedule\nRemote position\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nIt is NovaSource Power Services’ policy to provide equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
