Are you an experienced cyber professional who knows how to connect programmes, align stakeholders, and resolve friction across complex international organisations? Join Novaspace in a high-impact role supporting NATO cyber security and cyberspace coordination in Brussels.

We are looking for a senior profile to support the alignment of current NATO Enterprise Cyber Security activities with future Cyberspace capability development. This role is not a purely technical cyber role: it is a coordination-heavy, stakeholder-facing position for someone who understands cybersecurity, can operate confidently across NATO structures, and can broker practical solutions across multiple teams and programmes. What should you bring in terms of capabilities? Roadmap analysis, de-confliction, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to work across ACT, OCIO, NCIA, NATO HQ, and related cyber/CIS communities.

Your role and responsibilities

    • Maintain oversight of current and future projects within the Cyberspace Programme, including capabilities, scope, timelines, and projected evolution

    • Act as a bridge between ACT and OCIO teams in Brussels and the US, helping activities converge and ensuring coordination across relevant meetings and work strands

    • Review roadmap and programme activities on a recurring basis to identify overlaps, gaps, conflicts, and coordination touchpoints

    • Support de-confliction between the Cyberspace Programme and the Cyber Adaptation Roadmap, including coordination with NCIA where required

    • Track actions and synchronization points across stakeholders and ensure follow-through where dependencies or conflicts arise

    • Engage with key stakeholders across ACT, OCIO, NATO HQ, NCIA, NSPA, and other relevant cyber/CIS communities

    • Attend relevant meetings and provide concise summaries and briefings to support leadership awareness and decision-making

    • Maintain regular contact with adjacent offices and branches to ensure broader alignment across cyber security and cyberspace activities

    • Help identify and mitigate potential programme, schedule, technical, or organisational conflicts before they escalate

Desired skills & experience (must-haves)

    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

    • Postgraduate education or professional certification in cyber security / information systems security, such as CISSP, GIAC, ISACA, CISM, or equivalent

    • At least 5 years of experiencein cyber security or cyberspace operations, applying cyber knowledge in complex systems environments

    • At least 5 years of experienceworking on large-scale cyber or CIS projects at enterprise level

    • At least 3 years of experienceworking in an international environment and building relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

    • Demonstrated experience operating in large, complex enterprise environments

    • Working knowledge of NATO as an organisation, including its key entities and relationships across NATO HQ, OCIO, Strategic Commands, NCIA, and NSPA

    • Strong organisational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills

    • Proven ability to mediate, de-conflict, and broker practical “win-win” solutions across competing stakeholder interests

    • Confidence working in ambiguous environments with limited direction, and willingness to engage proactively

    • Full professional fluency in English; strong written and spoken communication are essential

    • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools and collaborative working environments

    • Citizen of a NATO member state

    • Holder of an active NATO or national SECRET clearance(or higher), or clearly eligible to hold one

    • Ability to work on-site in Brussels and travel without restriction across NATO nations as required

Any of the following would be a plus

    • Prior experience supporting NATO cyber adaptation, enterprise cyber security, or cyberspace capability development

    • Experience working directly with programme offices, requirement managers, implementation teams, or capability branches in defence environments

    • Familiarity with Cyber Adaptation Roadmaps, capability roadmaps, or cross-organisational programme governance

    • Experience supporting senior-level coordination meetings, reporting, or decision support in security-sensitive environments

    • Previous exposure to defence, government, or international institutional settings beyond NATO

We offer

    • A high-visibility role at the intersection of cyber security, programme coordination, and defence governance

    • Direct exposure to senior stakeholders across NATO cyber, CIO, and implementation communities

    • The opportunity to contribute to mission-critical work improving alignment between current enterprise cyber efforts and future cyberspace capabilities

    • A dynamic international environment with real responsibility and impact from day one

    • The chance to apply both your cyber expertise and your stakeholder management skills in a uniquely strategic setting
