This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities that support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The Associate Maintenance Planner will partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability teams to develop work plans, optimize maintenance resources, and improve equipment performance through effective maintenance planning and execution.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.\nCoordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and contractor resources to support planned maintenance work.\nCreate and maintain detailed job plans, work instructions, and maintenance procedures.\nSupport the development and continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nPartner with Operations and Maintenance teams to prioritize work and optimize equipment reliability and availability.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, schedules, reports, and documentation within the computerized maintenance management system.\nMonitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, equipment reliability, and resource utilization.\nTrack maintenance backlog activities and support prioritization of critical work.\nAssist with maintenance projects, shutdown planning, and contractor coordination as needed.\nPromote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.\nSupport maintenance planning processes in alignment with plant and corporate objectives.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nIndustrial manufacturing mechanical or electrical background required.\nMinimum of five years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, or related maintenance functions.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\nAbility to develop, maintain, and improve maintenance plans, schedules, and work instructions.\nUnderstanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.\nStrong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong administrative and mathematical skills.\nAbility to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\nAdvanced digital literacy and proficiency with business software applications.\nAbility to build collaborative relationships and work effectively with employees across all levels of the organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical school education or training in a mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance discipline.\nSAP experience or proficiency.\nPrevious maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of metal sheet processing equipment.\nExperience supporting reliability-centered maintenance programs.\nExperience with maintenance performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience creating and improving maintenance work instructions and standard work documentation.\nPlease note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
