An operator will operate machines and handle components using prescribed standard operating procedures and cGMP guidelines to manufacture and ensure the product meets the quality requirements. The operator will complete the necessary documentation and records to maintain quality control.\nResponsibilities\nOperate punching, pouching and cartooning machines\nOperate blending, coating, and slitting machines.\nBlend various ingredients for the coating process\nPerform set-ups and operate the equipment in the prescribed area of responsibility\nAssure work center operates safely to produce products within established quality standards within the cGMP and SOP guidelines\nCheck and weigh components to ensure compliance\nClean production room and equipment\nPerform duties as trained and assigned\nMaintain a clean organized work area\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions\nAbility to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment\nMust meet medical requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) used in manufacturing\nAbility to work with Controlled Substances and all required procedures\nCompletes assigned training curriculums within assigned time frames before performing any activity associated with the training topic\nEnsure documentation is completed and meet the prescribed standards\nQualifications\nEducation / Experience:\nHigh school diploma. Candidate must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, ability to speak, read and write in the English language and demonstrate the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.\nJudgment / Decision Making:\nAbility to ascertain that work complies with approved standards and meets the prescribed guidelines of Noven Pharmaceuticals Inc. Must be able to operate production equipment with minimal supervision from the LMO. Employee must demonstrate the ability of adhering to stringent documentation requirements.\nWork Environment:\nPlant floor, pharmaceutical products.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
