This role works closely with Electrical Engineers, project teams, and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and constructible designs.\nKey Focus Areas\nCandidates should have hands-on experience designing and drafting within large-scale oil & gas environments, including:\nPower Distribution (LV/MV/HV)\nTransformers & Switchgear\nMotors, Drives & MCCs\nLighting & Grounding Systems\nCable Routing, Tray Layouts & Raceway Design\nControl Panels & Field Instrument Integration\nElectrical Interfaces for Rotating and Static Equipment\nExperience preparing or assisting with equipment specifications and design documentation is a plus\nResponsibilities\nProduce detailed electrical design deliverables, including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, grounding plans, lighting layouts, and equipment arrangement drawings.\nDevelop and maintain 2D and 3D models, ensuring alignment with project standards and multidisciplinary coordination.\nSupport Electrical Engineers in preparing specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.\nCoordinate with vendors to incorporate equipment details into design packages.\nEnsure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements (NEC, IEEE, API, etc.).\nAssist with design reviews, constructability assessments, and resolution of design issues during construction and commissioning.\nMaintain accurate revision control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.\nQualifications\nAssociate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in electrical design.\nDemonstrated experience in large-scale oil & gas projects.\nProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant Electrical, SPI, or similar tools.\nStrong understanding of electrical design standards and drafting practices.\nAbility to interpret engineering specifications, vendor drawings, and technical documentation.\nExcellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.\nAbout Novetus Engineering LLC\nNovetus is unsurpassed in our commitment to achieving our objectives as efficiently as possible.
