Your work will enable critical business and scientific use cases across the organisation, helping teams deliver progress that reaches people living with serious chronic diseases.\nWhat you'll bring\nTo move quickly in this role, you can assess your fit against the following:\nA Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field.\nExtensive experience in enterprise platform engineering and cloud infrastructure.\nProven expertise with Terraform, AWS, Azure, Databricks, CI/CD and DevOps practices.\nA strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and platform automation.\nExperience in highly regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, healthcare or financial services.\nA strong grasp of governance, security, compliance and operational excellence.\nExperience with Data Mesh concepts and enterprise-scale data platforms.\nA track record of mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nUseful, but not essential:\nExperience working in global enterprise organisations.\nFamiliarity with enterprise data and analytics platforms.\nExperience driving platform modernisation and engineering transformation initiatives.\nKnowledge of platform observability, reliability engineering and cloud governance frameworks.\nWhat you'll do\nYou will act as a technical authority for platform engineering and cloud infrastructure within the DataCore Platform, combining strategic thinking with deep hands-on expertise. Novo Nordisk DataCore Platform (built on Databricks) - instead of Data Core Platform.\nDrive technical leadership and platform engineering strategy for the DataCore Platform.\nDefine and implement engineering standards, reusable patterns and platform best practices, including Infrastructure as Code and automation.\nLead architecture decisions across NovoNordisk DataCore Platform team, AWS, Azure, Terraform and Databricks, ensuring secure, scalable, reliable and compliant solutions.\nSupport and enable Data Mesh aligned platform capabilities.\nMentor senior engineers and strengthen engineering excellence across global teams.\nInfluence platform evolution and technical decision-making across global stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with our quality management system.\nWho you'll work with\nYou will join the DataCore Platform team within Enterprise IT & Quality, where colleagues work across the Novo Nordisk value chain to deliver trusted technology, high quality and responsible ways of working.
