These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nElectro Mechanical Technician| Macon, Georgia | Hiring Immediately\nCompensation:\nCompetitive starting pay range of $34.94-$40.75 per hour, paid weekly\nAvailable Shift:\n12-hour\n07:00 PM -07:00 AM\n3-2-2-3\nTEXT TO APPLY NUMBER:\n928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX)\nJob purpose:\nThe Electro Mechanic role is responsible for maintaining and responding to trouble calls for repairs on manufacturing equipment; including electrical and mechanical systems.\nEssential Duties and responsibilities\nThe primary job duties and responsibilities are:\nRepair, modify and maintain manufacturing equipment to insure products are in specification. \nFabricates parts not commercially available, \nTroubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers and programmable logic controls.\nCommunicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers.\nAssist (as required) in the training & skill up grading of other maintenance and production personnel \nMaintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.\nMaintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.\nImmediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.\nMaintains excellent safety record.\nMaintains excellent attendance record.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nExperience:\nDemonstrated industrial maintenance experience.\nAt least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.\nAt least three (3) years of experience in mechanics.\nAt least three (3) years of experience in controls.\nDemonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures. \nExperience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.\nSkills:\nAn individual must have the following skills in the Electro Mechanic position:\nInterpersonal skills.\nStrong sense of urgency.\nMust have good written and verbal communication skills\nIntermediate computer knowledge.\nExcellent problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.\nPLC ladder diagram reading.\nFull understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams.\nPhysical requirements:\nThis position is located in a manufacturing location.
