These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nForklift / Clamp Driver\nBrookshire, TX\nCompensation Includes\nStarting Pay Rate of $19/hourAdditional $1/hr shift differential pay on 3rd shift\n\nAvailable Shift\n3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am\nOverview\nUnder the direction of the Warehouse Manager and/or designated Shift Leads, this position is responsible for all aspects of packing finished paper bags from the on line and prepares them for shipping in order to safely produce high-quality bags in accordance with the job safety analyses (JSA’s), production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc.\nResponsibilities\nUnderstand and follow all safety procedures / policies\nFollow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements\nLoad and unload paper rolls, labels, and other as specified\nAbility to safely operate a forklift and paper roll clamp truck (Will train on Clamp Truck)\nProperly and accurately scan production and paper to and from machines\nMonitor shrink wrap through equipment, starting, stopping, jogging, and adjusting as needed\n Threading shrink wrap through equipment smoothly and thread equipment as needed\nFills out proper documentation, reports daily and timely\nStacks finished product on pallet evenly and correctly\nClean the forklift and or clamp truck as needed using proper equipment\nPerform order changes, shrink wrap changes and set label information as needed\nPerform Minor adjustments and troubleshooting on shrink wrapper, and label machine\nFulfill customer’s special packing tasks (copacker, single packing, etc.)\nSubmit accurate production reports daily and timely\nMeet/achieve safety, quality production waste and housekeeping goals forth by management\nQualifications\n2+ years’ experience and certified in forklift / clamp truck\nExperience working in Warehouse or Manufacturing Facilities\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nEligible to work in the United States\nSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen\nWork overtime as required\nSatisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the job with our without accommodation\nPhysical Demands\nRequirements include, but are not limited to:\nSitting (1-2 hours)\nStanding\nWalking Lifting (Regularly/Constantly):0-10 lbs.
