These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nInventory Control Coordinator\nBrookshire, TX\nCompensation Includes\nStarting Pay Rate of $20-23/hour\nOverview\nThe Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the control and accuracy of all inventory as it relates to all system transactions.\nResponsibilities\nReconciles IFS inventory transactions on a daily basis\nProcesses all PDN’s, Product Defect Notifications, daily (unventory issue transactions)\nFacilitates all cycle counting:Schedules counts\nReconciles discrepancies and determines the root causes\nMakes inventory adjustments upon approval by established hierarchy\n\nRecords and tracks inventory accuracy for weekly KPI reporting\nPlays a major role in assisting the facilitation of all physical inventories\nResearches all inventory discrepancies\nAssists in the training of new Material Handlers on shipping and receiving procedures as they relate to inventory transactions\nPerforms month end close preparations and transactions:Ensures all product is received in the system prior to close\nEnsures all inventory and transaction reconciliation is complete and correct prior to month end close\nEnsures IFS is scheduled to be turned off for month end close, at 7am, the first day of each month\n\nPrepares semi-annual mock recalls for audits and actual recalls, if necessary\nFollow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements\nCross-train and provide backup support for shipping and receiving functions when needed\nOther miscellaneous duties as assigned by management\nRequirements\nH.S. diploma or G.E.D.\n1 yr. in inventory control or accounting or other, relevant supply chain position\nComputer literate in an ERP system and Microsoft Office with the ability to use workstations or RF scanners, email, copiers and printers\nExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail\nGood communication skills and a sense of urgency\nAble to work independently at times and with minimal supervision but can also work easily as part of the team when needed\nDemonstrates initiative and good problem-solving skills\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility toLift and carry at least 40lbs without assistance\nMove light to moderately heavy objects\nVisually receive and differentiate colors\nUnderstand written and printed material and verbal information\nActively exchange ideas/thoughts with others\nDetect, recognize and judge differences or changes in print and color\nWork under conditions such as heat, cold, and have mobility to grasp small objects and do repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, reaching above shoulders, kneeling and twisting\nStand and or sit for 8 or 12 hours\nHandle tools or equipment\nWork under tight schedules in high pressure situations\n\nTolerance toSeasonal temperature variations (heat in summer, cold in winter)\nRegularly exposed to dirt, dust, noise; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; ink; glue; paper; cold and heat\nNoise level in the work environment is usually very loud\n\nThe above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and are not to be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the position.
