These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nMachine Operator\nSouth Haven, MI\nCompensation Includes\nStarting Pay Rate of $20.00/hour for day shift or $22.00/hr for night shift\n New Hire Incentive: $250 (paid at 60 days), $250 (paid at 90 days), and $250 (paid at 6 months)\nResponsibilities\nLoad machines with rolls of paper, thread machines, and make splices as necessary\nRemove coils of twisted paper from machines and stack on pallets\nMonitor machines while in operation\nAdjust clutch to maintain coil integrity\nVerify proper width and thickness of paper\nReporting defective or non-functioning test equipment\nGauge dies to assure proper size according to production specifications\nInitiate production records\nPerform quality tests and report any non-conformities\nLoad and set up machine to product specifications as required\nRemove slitted pads from machine and leveraging shaft and pads out of machine\nStack cut pads on pallet or deliver them to Spinners as necessary\nUse and maneuver hand cart\nQualifications\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n3 years of factory experience is preferred\nMust have basic reading, math, and communication skills\nEligible to work in the United States\nSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen\nAbility to work 12 hour days\nWork overtime as needed\nSatisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management\nAbility perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation\nLifting and carrying a minimum of 60-70 lbs\nCompany Benefits\nWhat You'll Get From Us\nBenefits\nWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
