These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nMachine Operator\nDowningtown, PA\nCompensation Includes\nStarting rate at$23.70/hour\nPay differential added for 2nd shift and 3rd shift\nAvailable Shifts\n2nd: 3:00pm - 11:00pm\n\n3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am\n\nResponsibilities\nConsistently operates zone of forming machines at or above standard levels considering waste, efficiency and utilization\nTroubleshoot causes of machine malfunctions\nMake appropriate adjustments or repairs to ensure that the quality of the cartons meeting specifications and that the machines operate properly\nConducts quality checks at regular intervals and takes corrective action to fix defects identified\nPerforms minor repairs during production\nPerforms changeovers\nPerforms weekly machine maintenance\nCommunicates with the operator from the previous and following shifts and with supervisors to review any problems experienced on the machines throughout the department\nPerforms purge procedures when changing to a new product and completes the required checklists\nFollows LOTO and alternative LOTO procedures\nMaintains a clean and orderly work area\nQualifications\n1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment\nSome mechanical experience prefrerred \nHS diploma or GED equivalent is required\nThe ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required\nCompany Benefits\nWhat You'll Get From Us\nBenefits\nWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
