These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nPurpose of the job:\nThis position is responsible for managing maintenance staff, achieving results in areas of safety, preventative\nmaintenance, utilization of equipment, waste reduction, equipment improvement, facility upkeep, and\npredictive maintenance. Also spare part inventories, maintenance shop and preventive\nmaintenance scheduling and capital projects\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities:\n1. Manage Maintenance team to ensure facility goals and objectives are achieved: Communicate\nfacility goals and objectives to all maintenance team members, provide resources, and support by\nholding bi-weekly crew meeting, monthly maintenance project meetings, also attending weekly\nlead team meetings and daily production meetings to communicate goals and plant priorities.\n2. Effectively manager preventative and predictive maintenance programs: Schedule and plan\npreventative maintenance to include inspection and repair of equipment on a bi-weekly cycle.\nHold pre-planning meetings to include maintenance team and production team for planning and\npriority setting for preventative maintenance tasks. Schedule predictive maintenance such as\nvibration analysis and infrared scanning to detect potential equipment failures. Schedule advance\nrepairs to avoid costly equipment repairs and unexpected downtime.\n3. Continuously improve all Maintenance team members: Ensure all maintenance team members\nare trained in safety, environmental and all proficiencies on an annual basis. Provide annual\nrefresher training in all maintenance specific areas to include welding safety, radiation safety,\nconfined space entry, hot work, electrical safety, hoist and sling usage and chemical specific\ntraining. Provide internal and external technical training for all Maintenance technicians to ensure\ncontinuous improvement on all maintenance skill levels. Measure results through annual and bi-\nannual evaluations of maintenance skills, peer and customer service feedback.\n4. Manage equipment improvement and capital projects: Facilitate monthly meetings on equipment\nimprovement with Production Manager, Boundary Managers and Team Leaders from all areas of\nthe plant to set priorities and plan equipment improvements. Facilitate quarterly meetings on the\nfive-year capital plan with the Lead Team to set priorities for capital projects and provide\nresources for getting information gathered and capital projects submitted for the current year.\n5. Manage Maintenance Inventory Group and spare parts inventory area: Communicate plant\npriorities and upcoming equipment rebuilds and projects to ensure proper stock levels on\nnecessary spare parts. Work with Maintenance inventory group to set proper inventory levels and\nto ensure availability of critical spare parts.\n6. Manage facility maintenance and maintenance of all support equipment: Collect bids on all\nannual contracts and perform competitive bid analysis to ensure the facility gets quality\nworkmanship at a competitive price. Train all contractors on facility safety rules and procedures.\nSchedule maintenance of all support equipment including all Saturday and Sunday maintenance work as needed.\nQualifications:\nEducation and/or Experience Required at Entry:\n1. BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.\n2. GPA 3.0 Bachelor’s Degree (out of 4.0)\n3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.\n4. Ability to work “Hands-On” in a manufacturing shop-floor environment.\n5. Desire for Manufacturing Management.\n6. Keen interest to excel as a manager in a performance driven environment.\n7. Candidate must be flexible to shift work.\n8. Candidate must be flexible regarding travel and relocation.\n9. Candidate must have unlimited U.S. work eligibility.\nSkills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate:\n10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n11. Interpersonal skills\n12. Detailed oriented.\n13. Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and Power Point) applications.\n14. Excellent organizational skills\n15. Ensure that all requirements of SQF System are being administered and adhered to.\n21. Responsible for compliance with and adherence to all established good manufacturing\npractices, food safety plans and all applicable regulations and guidelines.\nWorking Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:\n1. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, squat 8 to 10 hours a day\n2. Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment\n3. Must be willing to work on manufacturing production floor\n4. Must be able to lift 10 lbs. or more\n5. Standard office working conditions apply\nA reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,800 - $171,300 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
