These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nPosition Summary:\nThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations within the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This position directs maintenance personnel, oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manages departmental budgets, coordinates capital and facility improvement projects, and ensures compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. The Maintenance Manager partners closely with Production, Quality, Safety, Shipping & Receiving, and administrative teams to drive continuous improvement and maximize equipment performance.\nEssential Functions & Key Responsibilities:\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while ensuring proper training and adherence to safe work practices, policies, and procedures. \nProvide direction and leadership to the Maintenance Team through performance management, employee development, goal setting, and accountability. \nDevelop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and asset reliability. \nPlan, prioritize, assign, and oversee daily maintenance activities to support plant operations and production requirements. \nManage departmental budgets, maintenance expenses, inventory, and cost-control initiatives. \nCoordinate facility and equipment projects including installations, upgrades, machine relocations, overhauls, and capital improvement initiatives. \nServe as the primary liaison during state, federal, insurance, fire department, and other regulatory inspections. \nBalance administrative responsibilities with active floor presence to support employees, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational efficiency. \nMaintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, and performance metrics. \nPartner with Safety, Quality, Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Administrative departments to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives. \nDrive root cause analysis efforts for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. \nEnsure compliance with all company safety standards, environmental regulations, and maintenance best practices.\nQualifications:\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field. \nMinimum five (5) years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a supervisory or management role. \nExperience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. \nDemonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nExperience in plastics manufacturing, including extrusion and converting processes. \nCertification in Lean Manufacturing, Reliability, TPM, or related maintenance disciplines. \nExperience with capital project management and equipment installations.\nCandidate Requirements:\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills using systematic and data-driven approaches. \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and Root Cause Analysis. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Forms. \nWorking knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PLC controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. \nExperience with machine shop equipment including welders, lathes, grinders, cutting equipment, and fabrication tools. \nUnderstanding capital project planning, budgeting, and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis. \nExperience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintenance inventory management systems. \nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to walk production floors for extended periods. \nAbility to climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated work areas. \nAbility to lift to 50 pounds occasionally. \nAbility to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and operating machinery.\nCompany Benefits\nWhat You'll Get From Us\nBenefits\nWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
