These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nThis position is responsible for managing maintenance staff, achieving results in areas of safety, preventative maintenance, utilization of equipment, waste reduction, equipment improvement, facility upkeep, and predictive maintenance. Also, spare part inventories, maintenance shop and preventive maintenance scheduling and capital projects.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment.\nManage Maximo CMMS software to coordinate predictive/preventative scheduling, track asset history, and log data.\nOptimize spare parts inventory within Maximo to guarantee critical component availability for upcoming plant rebuilds.\n Oversee annual safety and technical training while conducting bi-annual performance and skill evaluations.\nDirect capital projects and equipment improvements by facilitating monthly and quarterly cross-functional planning sessions.\nDrive continuous improvement by providing technical recommendations to optimize plant production processes.\nEnforce strict food safety compliance by ensuring all maintenance activities and contractors adhere to plant GMPs.\nManage facility contracts, including competitive vendor bidding, safety certifications, and weekend scheduling.\nMaintains production equipment in a manner that meets safety and efficiency standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.\nOther miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED; Associate degree from a college or technical school preferred\n2-5 years related experience required including supervisory experience.\nExperience using Microsoft Office products.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience with Maximo preferred.\nCandidate must be flexible to shift work.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.\nPhysical Requirements:\n Ability to stand for long periods of time, 12 hours or more\nAbility to lift, push or carry up to 50 lbs\nCarrying; a minimum of 50 lbs. \nPulling; 2 hours \nPushing; 3 hours \nReaching above shoulders \nWalking; 8 hours \nStanding; 8 hours \nKneeling; 4 hours \nBending; 6 hours \nClimbing;6 hours \nHearing and vision ability to identify machine mechanics and work in noisy environment \nAbility to handle tools or equipment.\nAbility to work under tight schedules in high pressure situations.\nTolerance to seasonal temperature variations (heat in summer, cold in winter)\nTolerance to regularly exposed to dirt, dust, noise; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; ink; glue; paper; cold and heat. \nTolerance to the noise level in the work environment is usually very loud\n** The above statements reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and are not to be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the position.
