Job Description

Pay Range:
- $17.00 to $18.00 per hour plus a $1.00 Shift Differential paid weekly
Shift:
- 8:00 AM-8:00 PM/ 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
Summary:
Safely and effectively packs finished goods and prepares product for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the operations team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects, and pack finished goods in the correct configuration.
- Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs items into the appropriate packaging.
- Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and maintain product quality.
- Replaces adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
- Ensures that any finished goods or work-in-progress identification labels are present and properly placed.
- Stacks finished product in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
- Maintains good housekeeping and ensures areas of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
- Promptly informs supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality, or efficiency.
- Follows all company-established rules and policies, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team is essential.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
