Key performance areas include safety, quality, overall equipment effectiveness, and operator productivity. The plant operates 24/7, on 12 hour shifts. To effectively coordinate and supervise production activities on the assigned shift, utilizing equipment, materials, people and support services, so that the plant meets budgeted objectives in a safe and efficient manner, while achieving customer’s quality expectations.\nEssential Functions & Key Responsibilities\nSupervision of Adjuster/Supervisors\nMonitor and maintain shift production staffing levels\nEnforce all safety procedures and policies on the shift\nFollow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements\nAnalyze downtime and determine corrective action\nAble to identify root cause of equipment or process failure using deductive reasoning and experience\nProvide direction to shift training needs and schedule training sessions to fill those needs\nMonitor the quality of the product being produced and shipped\nEnsure all production reporting is complete and accurate\nMonitor production schedule and use available employee equipment resources in the best way to meet that schedule\nParticipate in plant projects, teams and committees\nExperience in leading people and teams in a manufacturing setting are required\nLEAN manufacturing background\nExceptional problem solver with a strong drive for continuous improvement\nMetrics/performance oriented leader with strong communication skills\nKey attributes of the successful candidate include self-starter, organized, technical aptitude, great leadership skills, ability to learn quickly, team-player, and the desire to progress within manufacturing leadership positions\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma/Associates Degree (Bachelor’s Degree a plus)\n5+ years of Supervisory Experience in a Manufacturing Environment\nStrong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, ERP, Outlook, etc)\nCompensation\nA reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus + benefits.
