These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nSummary:\nThe Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a large production team to ensure achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence by developing the workforce, enforcing policies, and driving continuous improvement across assigned departments.\nEssential Functions & Key Responsibilities:\nLead and direct daily operations within the production department to meet production targets, ensure safety, and deliver quality that meets customer specifications.\nSupervise a team of 70+ employees, including both salaried and hourly personnel.\nSchedule, track, and monitor production performance and costs to ensure departmental goals are achieved.\nMaintain an effective workforce by managing hiring, training, coaching, and corrective actions.\nImplement best practices and enforce consistent company policies and procedures.\nComplete and maintain timely, accurate reports on key production metrics such as efficiency, downtime, and cost.\nProvide performance feedback to team members and communicate results both up and down the organization.\nDevelop and lead safety awareness programs, communicate safety concerns, and conduct or lead investigations into safety incidents.\nSupport and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including process design and implementation.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, quality, and other departments to ensure alignment and success.\nCandidate Requirements:\nPrefer bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.\n5 years of manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.\nProficiency in statistical methods and process improvement techniques.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nExcellent communication skills-both verbal and written-across all levels of the organization.\nEffective team building and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a large and diverse team.\nAbility to speak and read Spanish is a plus.\nMust be able to respond to emergencies as a member of the emergency response team.\nCompany Benefits\nWhat You'll Get From Us\nBenefits\nWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
