These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nTeam Lead - Conyres, GA\nCompensation:\n Competitive starting pay range of $30.05-$39.34 per hour, paid weekly (Based on experience)\nShift Available:\nDays\n7:00am to 7:00pm\n2-2-3 Schedule\nPosition Overview:\nHands-on leadership, mechanical aptitude, analytical, design, problem solving, project management, strong\ntechnical skills, customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communication, teamwork,\njudgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance,\npunctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, and lean manufacturing.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupervises day to day operation of a 12-hour production shift by performing the following duties\npersonally or through subordinate employees: Oversee entire shift for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery\nand Productivity results for a minimum of 20 hourly employees.\nTroubleshoots complex/critical processes or equipment and provides hands on approach to resolve.\nResponsible for safety of all employees within department.\nSupport activities to increase safety awareness, boost morale.\nSupervise Operators and monitors run conditions of production lines.\nAssess training needs and administer training as necessary.\nAssess talent and insures the development of team.\nCommunicates effectively with all levels of operation.\nResponsible for ensuring all production capacities are met.\nResponsible for ensuring that only quality product is produced and distributed. Maintains good housekeeping of the production facility.\nAssists with employee performance evaluations and may counsel employees as needed.\nCompletes daily attendance reports for department.\nManages problem solving and continuous improvement for 1 Value Stream of product families.\nResponsible for the daily execution of the Pactiv Production System, including leader standard work, hour by hour reporting, Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings and participation in kaizen improvement activities.\nSupervisor of technicians, operators and material handlers.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of experience (supervisory role within a manufacturing facility preferred)\nBasic Microsoft skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc).\nProficient in the English Language (read, write, talk).\nBilingual in Spanish and English preferred.\nHands-on leadership\nCapable of communicating in front of large groups and interacting with peers and site leaders.\nReliable/Dependable as it relates to completing work assignments.
