These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.\nJob Description\nPackaging Associate\nBaxter Springs, KS\nCompensation Includes\nStarting Pay Rate of $16.91/hour \nAvailable Shifts\n3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday\n\nOverview\nInspect and pack product manufactured on high-speed paper converting equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.\nResponsibilities\nInspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices\nNotify the Operator when product does not meet quality specifications; assist with resolution\nRead, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork\nRead & understand Production Order Packet (POP); set up work area using materials as specified in the POP; replenish materials as needed\nAssist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed\nMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition\nComplete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures\nActively engage in safety programs\nAssist other team members as needed\nQualifications\nStable work history; six months experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred\nCommitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace\nQuality-conscious, oriented to excellence\nStrong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level\nWell-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker\nWillingness to work overtime as needed\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
