You will work closely with finance colleagues across APAC and globally, as well as partners in other functions such as Commercial and Supply Chain, and external authorities and consultants in a collaborative team where people take ownership, explore better solutions and care for one another.\nThe Role & Your Impact\nBased at our TEDA site in Tianjin, you will play an important role in maintaining effective financial governance while supporting business performance across multiple markets. This role combines hands-on finance operations, compliance and business partnering, giving you the opportunity to turn financial data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nPerform financial controlling activities, including trial balance reviews, period-end closing, financial reporting and enterprise risk management.\nManage and control payroll, product costing, working capital, taxation and transfer-pricing-related activities.\nMaintain a robust internal control and governance environment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements.\nPartner with business functions to resolve financial matters and provide data-driven financial advice that supports effective decision-making.\nCollaborate with regional and global finance colleagues, auditors, government authorities and external advisors to identify timely solutions.\nDrive process optimization, automation and continuous improvement across finance activities.\nContribute to ad hoc finance projects and business initiatives as required.\nWhat You’ll Need to Be Successful\nA bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.\nAt least five years of relevant finance experience within a multinational company.\nStrong experience in financial controlling, compliance, reporting, forecasting, financial analysis and taxation.\nSolid knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes and internal control requirements.\nExperience using ERP systems such as SAP, together with financial analysis or automation tools.\nFluency in written and spoken English.\nStrong accounting knowledge and analytical capabilities.\nHigh integrity, accountability and attention to detail.\nThe ability to communicate financial information clearly and translate data into actionable business insights.\nStrong collaboration, communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nA proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nA recognized professional accounting certification.\nKorean language capability.\nExperience working across multiple countries or legal entities.\nAn interest in finance automation and process improvement.\nExperience partnering with Commercial, Supply Chain or other cross-functional stakeholders.\nWhat We Offer\nYou will join a collaborative and internationally connected finance environment, working closely with colleagues across APAC and our global organization.\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
