You will lead weekend shift production activities, support employee development, and help ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead assigned-shift production operations and employees to safely maximize results and meet customer demand.\nPlan work, schedule and assign personnel, set priorities, communicate expectations, and coach team members toward strong performance and engagement.\nDeliver safety, quality, productivity, cost, and people objectives through daily performance management and continuous improvement practices.\nProvide first-line production and equipment support, initiate repair work orders, coordinate preventive maintenance activities, and maintain required documentation.\nSupport compliance activities by following up on complaints, CAPA deviations, audit findings, and corrective actions.\nEnforce applicable GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, safety, sanitation, Kosher, and Halal requirements while supporting cross-functional initiatives and projects.\nWhat You'll Need to Be Successful\nTo succeed in this role, you will bring:\nBachelor's degree in a business or science-related discipline.\nOne to three years of supervisory experience.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English.\nStrong team leadership and employee coaching skills.\nEffective decision-making and communication skills across organizational levels.\nWorking knowledge of continuous improvement principles.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nKey competencies include:\nSafety and quality leadership.\nEmployee coaching, performance management, and engagement.\nClear communication and cross-functional collaboration.\nProblem solving, root cause analysis, and sound decision-making.\nContinuous improvement mindset, adaptability, and ownership.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nThe following qualifications are preferred but not required:\nTechnical experience working on, troubleshooting, or operating manufacturing equipment.\nExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.\nInterest in driving operational excellence and developing high-performing teams.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Novonesis, you'll join a collaborative team where your leadership and ideas can make a meaningful impact.
