Working closely with external contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and site stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed quality, schedule, and budget requirements.\nThe Role & Your Impact\nIn this role, you will coordinate civil engineering and construction activities from planning through site execution and project handover. You will provide hands-on coordination across contractors and internal stakeholders, helping keep\nprojects on track while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, and documentation.\nYou will:\nCoordinate civil construction, maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure projects delivered by external contractors, consultants, and service providers.\nSupport project planning, scheduling, site execution, inspections, measurements, testing, snagging, and final handover.\nReview contractor proposals, civil and structural drawings, specifications, method statements, schedules, and other technical documentation to support effective project execution.\nMonitor contractor progress against agreed scope, schedule, quality, safety, and budget expectations, while tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and punch-list items.\nCoordinate site activities involving buildings, foundations, structural works, roads, flooring, roofing, paving, drainage, and other civil infrastructure, including site access, permits, shutdowns, and material deliveries.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and external partners to resolve technical issues, address risks, and support effective project delivery.\nWhat You’ll Need to Be Successful\nWe are looking for someone who brings:\nA Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.\n3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, facilities, plant maintenance, or civil project coordination.\nExperience coordinating external civil contractors, consultants, and construction service providers.\nGood working knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and site execution.\nExperience with site inspections, quantity measurements, project schedules, quality checks, contractor progress monitoring, and project handover.\nAbility to review civil, structural, architectural, drainage, and infrastructure drawings.\nKnowledge of construction safety requirements, work permits, risk assessments, and method statements.\nStrong coordination, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple contractors, activities, and stakeholders effectively.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nIt would be an advantage if you also bring:\nExperience working in an industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, commercial, or facilities environment.\nFamiliarity with quantity estimation, Bills of Quantities, contractor measurements, and work verification.\nPractical knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, masonry, flooring, roofing, paving, drainage, and related civil works.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing-review tools.\nExperience with project-management or document-control systems.\nAn interest in identifying opportunities to continuously improve civil project execution and contractor coordination.\nWhat We Offer\nYou will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with exposure to a range of civil, construction, infrastructure, and site projects.\nThe role offers the opportunity to build experience across the complete project lifecycle, working closely with engineering professionals, operational teams, and external partners while strengthening your capabilities in project coordination, contractor management, quality, safety, and stakeholder collaboration.\nJob Location - Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)\nTransport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.\nWork: - 5 days from office\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
