This is an on-site role supporting the quality and reliability of our products.\nThe role & your impact\nOur Quality team supports the organization from early research through final product delivery. We focus on digitization, automation, and simplification to help improve efficiency and speed across our processes and services. As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory testing and provide accurate, reliable data that supports product release.\nYour key responsibilities in this role\nPerform analytical, chemical, and physical assays.\nTroubleshoot laboratory and testing issues.\nCollect, analyze, and interpret data.\nCollaborate with QC team members to maintain high productivity and technical excellence.\nProvide accurate and reliable data to support product release.\nWhat you'll need to be successful in this role\nA B.S. in Chemistry or a related field, with laboratory and/or industry quality experience.\nStrong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, NMR, IC, or similar techniques.\nAuthorization to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.\nAdditional skills & interests we value\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, industrial biological production, or Quality Control is preferred.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing or production processes and how accurate, timely QC testing supports product quality, customer service, and release decisions.\nExperience supporting instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, equipment checks, and accurate documentation to maintain laboratory readiness and support audits.\nWhat we offer you\nYou will join a Quality team focused on collaboration, technical excellence, and delivering reliable results while maintaining rigorous quality standards.\nWorking conditions\nThis position is on-site in Franklinton, North Carolina.\nFollowing completion of the training period, the regular schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m., and Thursday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.\nThe role requires lifting approximately 30 lbs.\nApproximately 65% of an 8-hour shift is spent standing in a laboratory setting.\nThe role works in a laboratory environment.\nCompensation & Benefits\nExpected pay range: $50,000-$60,000\nBenefits you will enjoy:\n401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution\nMinimum of 3 weeks of vacation, 12 holidays, and 2 weeks of Wellness Time\nHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance\nHealthcare Savings Account (HSA) option\nEmployee Assistance Program\nParental leave\nTuition reimbursement\nAll benefits begin on your first day\nRelevant information\nLocation: Franklinton, North Carolina (on-site)\nApplication deadline: November 9, 2026\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
