Your contribution will enable informed decision-making and support successful investment execution.\nThe Role & Your Impact\nAs a Cost Controller, you will act as the financial and operational backbone of project teams, ensuring timely and accurate cost information is available to support project delivery. This role combines financial control, forecasting, stakeholder management, and project support within a dynamic project environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop cost estimates, cost breakdown structures, and budget baselines during project planning phases.\nManage month-end activities including accruals, internal hour postings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.\nDrive ETC (Estimate to Complete) and EAC (Estimate at Completion) forecasting processes and perform variance analysis together with Project Managers and work package owners.\nMonitor open commitments, contingency utilization, and the financial impact of project risks and changes.\nSupport purchase order management, invoice handling, and change register administration on behalf of the Project Manager.\nPrepare monthly cost reports and support project closure activities, including asset creation and project financial closeout.\nWhat You'll Need to Be Successful\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in project controlling, cost engineering, project finance, or related disciplines.\nExperience working with ERP systems.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence or reporting tools.\nStrong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.\nEssential Competencies\nHighly structured and deadline-oriented working style.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.\nConfidence to challenge assumptions and constructively influence stakeholders.\nStrong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nExperience supporting large capital investment projects.\nKnowledge of project management methodologies and controls.\nExperience in procurement processes and contract-related financial management.\nUnderstanding of asset capitalization processes.\nContinuous improvement mindset and interest in process optimization.\nWhat We Offer\nThe opportunity to work on strategic investment projects with significant business impact.\nExposure to a broad network of stakeholders across project, procurement, finance, and operational teams.\nA collaborative and supportive environment that values expertise and partnership.\nProfessional development opportunities within a global organization.\nA culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and delivering sustainable value.\nWays of working:\nJob Location - Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)\nTransport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.\nWork: - 5 days from office\nApplication deadline: - 19th October 2026\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
