Our Environment team plays a vital role in ensuring our operations maintain high standards of sustainability, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.\nThe Role & Your Impact:\nOperating in a collaborative and dynamic environment, this position as an Environment Specialist focuses on managing solid waste disposal, environmental reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting global and regional initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainable practices and ensure adherence to environmental standards at our site.\nYour Key Responsibilities in this role:\nCoordinate solid waste disposal management;\nPerform analysis of waste recipients - Audit in destinations, control of documents (licenses and authorization) of the Partner companies;\nCoordinate environmental reporting;\nConduct training on environmental issues;\nActively participate in the Novonesis Environment Network;\nParticipate in the group of the companies in the Paraná - GPMAI;\nPerform environmental assessment of changes inserted in the change control;\nKeep Environmental files and documents organized and updated and inform relevant people as needed;\nBe responsible for the reports, authorizations, and licenses of authorities regarding the environment;\nProvide support to global and regional initiatives to ensure effective implementation;\nParticipate in internal and external audits;\nSupport use of EHS enterprise reporting system;\nSupport evaluation of Aspects and Impacts and updating of the legislation control system;\nEnsure that the necessary documentation is updated for ISO14001;\nReport environmental performance and KPIs;\nReport controlled chemicals;\nMonitor regulatory agency and inspections, ensuring compliance evidence and regulatory adherence.\nWhat you'll need to be successful in this role:\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering;\nIntermediate or advanced English;\nAvailability to work on-site in Araucária.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value:\nExperience with software for legal requirements.\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
