This role serves as an important bridge between project teams and Finance, contributing to sound financial stewardship and long-term value creation.\nThe Role & Your Impact\nAs a Financial Controller, you will own key financial processes associated with investment projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal governance requirements. The role combines operational execution with financial advisory responsibilities and requires extensive collaboration with project managers, cost controllers, accounting teams, and auditors.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate month-end closing activities, including accruals, repostings, and validation of financial results.\nEnsure appropriate accounting treatment of project expenditures, including capitalization, reserves, and IT/OT categorization.\nManage asset accounting processes, including asset creation, activation requirements, and depreciation activities.\nDrive internal rate governance activities, annual true-ups, and intercompany invoicing processes.\nConsolidate budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial inputs while delivering investment reporting.\nSupport governance processes, audit activities, investment approvals, and WBS structure setup.\nWhat You'll Need to Be Successful\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or financial management.\nStrong knowledge of capitalization, asset accounting, accrual accounting, and IFRS principles.\nExperience working with ERP finance systems.\nStrong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.\nEssential Competencies\nFinancial governance and compliance mindset.\nAbility to challenge decisions constructively while maintaining strong partnerships.\nAttention to detail and high level of accuracy.\nStakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. \nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nExperience supporting large capital investment projects.\nKnowledge of project accounting and project controlling methodologies.\nExperience with intercompany transactions and global finance environments.\nFamiliarity with audit processes and investment governance frameworks.\nContinuous improvement mindset and interest in optimizing financial processes. \nWhat We Offer\nOpportunity to work on strategically important investment initiatives.\nExposure to senior stakeholders across Finance and project organizations.\nCollaborative environment focused on financial excellence and compliance.\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth within a global organization.\nA culture that values partnership, accountability, and continuous learning. \nWays of working:\nJob Location - Novonesis Plant, Patalganga MIDC (Near Panvel, Navi Mumbai)\nTransport - Available from Kharghar Station and Panvel Station.\nWork: - 5 days from office\nApplication deadline: - 19th October 2026\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
