The role ensures that projects are delivered according to approved schedules, budgets, and governance standards while providing management with accurate and timely project insights.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Control\nDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules and milestones.\n\nMonitor project progress against approved plans and identify deviations.\n\nTrack critical paths, dependencies, and project deliverables.\n\nSupport project managers in developing recovery plans when required.\n\nFinancial Management\nPrepare project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.\n\nMonitor actual costs versus budget and forecast variances.\n\nEnsure accurate cost allocation and financial reporting.\n\nSupport capital expenditure (CAPEX) tracking and project investment reporting.\n\nReporting & Governance\nPrepare weekly and monthly project performance reports.\n\nDevelop dashboards and KPIs for project tracking.\n\nProvide management with clear visibility on project status, risks, budget, and timelines.\n\nEnsure compliance with project governance and reporting standards.\n\nRisk & Change Management\nMaintain project risk and issue registers.\n\nMonitor mitigation actions and escalation requirements.\n\nTrack scope changes and assess schedule and cost implications.\n\nSupport change approval processes and documentation.\n\nStakeholder Coordination\nWork closely with project managers, finance teams, engineering teams, procurement, and business stakeholders.\n\nFacilitate project review meetings and governance forums.\n\nEnsure alignment across project workstreams regarding timelines and deliverables.\n\nSystems & Documentation\nMaintain project documentation and records.\n\nEnsure data integrity across project management tools and ERP systems.\n\nSupport project audits and compliance reviews.\n\nIn this role you’ll make an impact by:\nDriving successful project delivery through effective planning, monitoring, and control of project scope, schedule, and budget.\n\nProviding accurate financial forecasts, cost analysis, and performance insights that support informed decision-making by project stakeholders.\n\nIdentifying risks, deviations, and bottlenecks early, enabling proactive mitigation and minimizing project disruptions.\n\nEnhancing transparency through timely reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking, ensuring leadership has clear visibility of project health and progress.\n\nSupporting governance and compliance by ensuring adherence to project management standards, processes, and financial controls.\n\nCollaborating across cross-functional teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive execution of key project milestones.\n\nOptimizing resource utilization and project efficiencies to maximize value delivery and achieve business objectives.\n\nContributing to continuous improvement by strengthening project control practices, tools, and reporting frameworks across the organization.\n\nTo succeed:\nQualifications & exp:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.\n\nPMP, PRINCE2, or Project Controls certification preferred.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, SAP, Primavera P6, or MS Project.\n\n15+ years of experience in Project Controls, Project Management, Finance, Engineering, or Capital Projects.\n\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, and reporting for complex projects.\n\nExperience in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.\n\nKey Competencies\nProject Planning & Scheduling\n\nBudgeting & Cost Control\n\nFinancial Analysis\n\nRisk Management\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nData Analytics & Reporting\n\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
