Working closely with operations, quality, and technical stakeholders, you will help ensure our products are produced safely, efficiently, and consistently while supporting Novonesis’ purpose of enabling better solutions for a growing world.\nThe Role & Your Impact\nAs a Process Engineer, you will combine operational support, process optimization, and project leadership to improve plant performance and product quality. You will work across manufacturing, engineering, and quality functions to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and support the reliable delivery of high-quality products.\nKey responsibilities include:\nOptimize process and equipment performance to improve yield, quality, cost, and delivery.\nProvide technical expertise and leadership for process improvements and technical change projects.\nSupport compliance with Novonesis policies, standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials, checklists, and documentation.\nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools.\nSponsor and manage capital projects, ensuring successful implementation and performance follow-up.\nReview production batches and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and efficiency.\nSupport technical training and certification efforts for operators and other plant personnel.\nPrepare technical reports and presentations to effectively communicate project results and recommendations.\nEnsure Quality, Environmental, and Safety standards are incorporated into process and equipment changes.\nWhat You'll Need to Be Successful\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally within food, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other GMP-regulated industries.\nStrong understanding of process engineering principles and manufacturing operations.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nThe following qualifications are beneficial but not required:\nExperience with process modeling tools.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis methods and software.\nExperience managing engineering or continuous improvement projects.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.\nExperience supporting capital projects from concept through implementation.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Novonesis, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing and innovative industry.
