Your work will directly contribute to safe construction and commissioning, regulatory compliance and a strong EHS culture on site.\nYour key responsibilities include:\nSupporting implementation of EHS policies, standards and procedures across overseas projects\nEnsuring construction and commissioning activities comply with local EHS laws, company standards and applicable food/pharma GMP-related EHS requirements\nConducting EHS risk assessments, defining mitigation measures and following up on corrective actions\nMonitoring contractor compliance with site safety plans, method statements, permits to work and PPE requirements\nPerforming site inspections and audits, identifying unsafe conditions or behaviors and driving preventive actions\nSupporting incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis and lessons-learned sharing across project sites\nSupporting environmental compliance related to waste, wastewater, air emissions, noise, dust and chemical handling\nCoordinating EHS inductions, toolbox talks and on-site safety communication\nPreparing regular EHS reports, including KPIs, incidents, inspections and action tracking, for project and management teams\nWhat You’ll Need to Be Successful\nBachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering or a related field\nMinimum 3 years of EHS experience in construction and/or industrial project environments\nSolid knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices for construction or industrial sites\nAbility to conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations and follow through on corrective actions\nStrong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors and multinational teams\nProactive, hands-on mindset with willingness to spend significant time in the field\nEnglish proficiency suitable for technical EHS communication, reporting and training\nAdditional Skills & Interests We Value\nExperience in food, pharmaceutical, biotech, cleanroom or other regulated process industries\nPrevious experience working on overseas or multicultural project sites\nAdditional local language skills relevant to project locations\nValid DLPW-related or equivalent EHS certifications\nWhat We Offer\nThe opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects in a global organization\nExposure to international project environments and cross-cultural collaboration\nA strong safety culture where EHS is a core value\nProfessional development through hands-on project experience and knowledge sharing\nWays of Working / Working Conditions\nPrimarily site-based role with significant presence on construction and commissioning sites\nFrequent interaction with contractors and project teams in active industrial environments\nWillingness to travel and work overseas as required by project needs\nField-based work with exposure to construction conditions, noise and varying weather, following appropriate PPE requirements\nOur purpose guides the way\nIn Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity’s biggest challenges.
