Ltd. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - Firmware to lead firmware development for its ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Business Unit.\n\nThis role owns the technical direction, delivery and quality of embedded firmware across radar- and vision-based ADAS platforms, while also managing and mentoring a team of embedded/firmware engineers.\n\nThe ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise in automotive embedded systems with proven people and program leadership.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Leadership : \n\n- Lead end-to-end firmware (BSW & ASW) development for ADAS products across Qualcomm, Infineon, ST and NXP/KEA platforms, covering radar and vision-based systems.\n\n- Own the technical architecture and design of AUTOSAR-based embedded software, including RTE, BSW module configuration and diagnostics.\n\n- Drive functional safety compliance (ISO 26262, ASIL-D) across the firmware lifecycle, from requirements through verification and validation.\n\n- Define and enforce automotive cybersecurity practices to ensure secure firmware and system architectures.\n\n- Manage bootloader and device driver development, and lead low-level debugging (CAN, hardware/software integration issues) across platforms.\n\nPeople Leadership : \n\n- Build, mentor and manage a team of firmware/embedded engineers.\n\n- Own technical hiring, performance reviews and career development for direct reports.\n\nDelivery & Program Management : \n\n- Partner with product management, hardware, systems and QA teams to translate ADAS product requirements into firmware deliverables and release plans.\n\n- Manage project timelines, technical risk and resource planning for firmware workstreams within the ADAS Business Unit.\n\n- Act as the primary technical escalation point for firmware issues with OEM and Tier-1 stakeholders.\n\nProcess & Innovation : \n\n- Establish and improve firmware development processes, coding standards and review practices across the team.\n\n- Drive innovation and IP generation - identify and file patents in areas such as V2X, radar, suspension/steering control and in-cabin monitoring.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems, with direct exposure to ADAS, telematics or camera-based systems.\n\n- Strong hands-on expertise in BSW & ASW development within an AUTOSAR architecture, including RTE and BSW module configuration.\n\n- Proven experience delivering safety-critical software compliant with ISO 26262 (ASIL-D) for global OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.\n\n- Working knowledge of automotive cybersecurity principles and secure firmware design.\n\n- Practical experience with bootloader development, device drivers, and CAN-based debugging and diagnostics.\n\n- Experience developing on Qualcomm, Infineon, ST and/or NXP/KEA microcontroller/SoC platforms.\n\n- Prior experience leading or mentoring a firmware/embedded engineering team, with the ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people management.\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \n\n- Exposure to radar-based and/or vision-based ADAS systems.\n\n- Demonstrated track record of technical innovation, ideally with patents filed in automotive/embedded domains (e.g., V2X, radar, suspension, in-cabin monitoring).\n\n- Experience working with, or delivering solutions for, Defence/government programs.\n\nEducation : \n\n- Required : Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.\n\n-
