We’re hiring Associate Supply Chain Engineers to improve how material is bought, positioned, and moved through Nox Metals. You will use data and direct operational work to help the right aluminum reach the right facility at the right time, without hiding problems behind excess inventory.\nYou will work across purchasing, suppliers, inventory, production, sales, and logistics. This is a strong early-career role for someone who likes analytical problems but wants to see the physical result of their decisions.\nYou will:\nTranslate demand and inventory data into practical purchasing and transfer recommendations\n\nPlace and track purchase orders and resolve supplier exceptions\n\nMonitor lead times, availability, service levels, and material exposure\n\nAnalyze shortages, excess, expedite costs, and recurring planning errors\n\nCoordinate inbound freight and interfacility material movements\n\nMaintain accurate supplier, item, and purchasing data\n\nWork with sales and operations to understand priorities and changing demand\n\nBuild reports and simple tools that improve daily decisions\n\nVisit the floor to reconcile system data with physical reality\n\nOwn improvement projects with measurable cost, availability, or speed outcomes\n\nYou are:\nAnalytical, organized, and willing to chase details to the source\n\nComfortable with spreadsheets, data, and quantitative tradeoffs\n\nA clear communicator with suppliers and internal teams\n\nCurious about manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and physical constraints\n\nCalm when a plan changes and disciplined about communicating the impact\n\nWilling to do routine transactional work while improving the system around it\n\nAccountable for results rather than just recommendations\n\nNice to have:\nDegree or experience in supply chain, industrial engineering, operations, analytics, or a related field\n\nExperience in purchasing, planning, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution\n\nFamiliarity with ERP, inventory, or business-intelligence tools\n\nExperience with SQL, Python, optimization, or statistical analysis\n\nComfort using AI tools to research, analyze, and automate responsibly\n\nBenefits:\nEquity in Nox Metals\n\nCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nThis role is full time and in person in either Los Angeles or Detroit.\nNox Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
