We’re hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to make the systems behind Nox secure, observable, and dependable. You will own the foundations that connect our applications, data, employees, and factory operations across Los Angeles and Detroit.\nThis role crosses cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, identity, security, networking, and incident response. You will automate repetitive work and still be willing to troubleshoot directly when the factory cannot wait.\nYou will:\nBuild and operate reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems\n\nImprove CI/CD, observability, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery\n\nManage identity, access, secrets, endpoints, and core security controls\n\nSupport reliable connectivity across offices, factories, applications, and equipment\n\nAutomate infrastructure and configuration wherever practical\n\nLead incident response and write clear follow-up actions\n\nPartner with application engineers to improve performance and reliability\n\nReduce single points of failure and undocumented dependencies\n\nMaintain practical documentation and runbooks\n\nEvaluate vendors and tooling based on security, reliability, and cost\n\nYou are:\nA strong troubleshooter across applications, cloud systems, networks, and devices\n\nSecurity-minded without making the organization impossible to operate\n\nComfortable automating work through code\n\nDisciplined about change management, monitoring, and recovery\n\nCalm and methodical during incidents\n\nClear in documentation and communication\n\nWilling to work directly with both engineers and factory teams\n\nSomeone who fixes root causes, not just the latest symptom\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with infrastructure as code, containers, CI/CD, and PostgreSQL\n\nExperience with factory, warehouse, edge, or industrial networks\n\nExperience with compliance or security programs\n\nExperience supporting a distributed, fast-growing organization\n\nBenefits:\nEquity in Nox Metals\n\nCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nThis role is full time, in person in either Los Angeles or Detroit, Michigan.\nNox Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
