We’re hiring Saw Operators to turn raw aluminum into accurate, customer-ready parts. You will set up and run industrial saws, verify material and dimensions, and record every cut accurately in our systems.\nPrecision matters. A safe, accurate cut protects our people, our inventory, and our customer’s schedule. You report to your Production Supervisor.\nYou will:\nFollow all safety procedures, machine-guarding requirements, and material-handling practices\n\nRead work orders and confirm the correct alloy, temper, dimensions, and quantity\n\nSet up and operate industrial bandsaws and related equipment\n\nMeasure finished pieces and verify cuts before material moves downstream\n\nUse forklifts, cranes, and lifting equipment after training and certification\n\nLabel, stage, and record completed material accurately\n\nMonitor blade condition and perform routine operator-level equipment checks\n\nEscalate quality, equipment, or material discrepancies immediately\n\nKeep the saw area clean and organized\n\nComplete other tasks as assigned\n\nYou are:\nSerious about safety\n\nCareful with measurements and details\n\nSteady under pressure and unwilling to trade accuracy for speed\n\nComfortable working with heavy industrial equipment\n\nCoachable and interested in learning the metals trade\n\nReliable and able to communicate clearly during shift handoffs\n\nComfortable using software or willing to learn\n\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for a full shift with or without reasonable accommodation\n\nNice to have:\nExperience operating bandsaws, production machinery, or CNC equipment\n\nFamiliarity with tape measures, calipers, or other inspection tools\n\nForklift or overhead-crane experience\n\nMetals, machining, or manufacturing experience\n\nComfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter\n\nBenefits:\nEquity in Nox Metals\n\nCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nThis role is full time and in person in Los Angeles.\nNox Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
