We’re hiring a Video Editor / Motion Designer to turn raw footage and complex industrial ideas into work people want to watch. You will edit brand films, customer stories, recruiting pieces, product explainers, and social content while building a motion language that is recognizably Nox Metals.\nYou will own projects from ingest through delivery, often moving between documentary footage, technical graphics, sound, color, and multiple platform cuts. The standard is clear storytelling, strong taste, and fast, dependable execution.\nYou will:\nEdit short- and long-form videos from selects through final delivery\n\nBuild motion graphics, titles, diagrams, maps, and data visualizations that clarify technical ideas\n\nFind the strongest story in interviews, factory footage, and incomplete source material\n\nCollaborate with cinematography and marketing on treatments, coverage, and post plans\n\nHandle sound design, music selection, dialogue cleanup, color finishing, and captioning\n\nCreate platform-specific versions for web, recruiting, sales, and social channels\n\nMaintain clean projects, proxies, asset libraries, versioning, and archival standards\n\nUse feedback well and protect the central idea through revisions\n\nHelp define templates and systems that increase output without making the work generic\n\nYou are:\nAn excellent editor with a strong sense of pacing, structure, music, and emotional rhythm\n\nA capable motion designer who can make complicated processes easy to understand\n\nPrecise about details, file organization, specifications, and deadlines\n\nComfortable working independently and presenting creative decisions clearly\n\nFast when needed without becoming careless\n\nCurious about industrial work and able to make real processes more compelling than stock imagery\n\nCollaborative, direct, and open to useful criticism\n\nNice to have:\nAdvanced experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools\n\nExperience with 3D, compositing, sound mixing, or color grading\n\nWork in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, or documentary storytelling\n\nExperience designing systems for high-volume social production\n\nComfort using AI tools responsibly for transcription, search, cleanup, and workflow automation\n\nBenefits:\nEquity in Nox Metals\n\nCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nThis role is full time and in person in either Los Angeles or Detroit.\nNox Metals is an equal opportunity employer.
